 This research group focuses on strategies, coordination modes, as well as institutions related to the process of implementing an entrepreneurial project. It is interested in institutional factors that frustrate entrepreneurship development in Algeria. It proposes to show that these factors stem from a double mode of coordination: on the one hand, customs and other informal rules and, on the other hand, the more formal constraints (both national and international) imposed on economic actors. According to these factors the research group proposes developmental pathways to entrepreneurship in Algeria that are consistent with economic development requirements, institutional characteristics and social context
